INTRODUCTION

With the rapid advancement in unmanned aircraft technology, many industries are leveraging the use of unmanned aircrafts to streamline their work processes. This platform eliminates or reduces reliance on intensive manpower and man hours for the tasks. In fact, this significantly reduces risk and improve safety at work. Currently, many rely on unmanned aircrafts for aerial mapping and modeling, agriculture exploration and monitoring, and structural inspections of commercial jets, buildings, infrastructures and vessels.

Basic Course for Drone Pilot

Code: DPC-B

OBJECTIVES

This 1-day Drone Pilot Course (Basic) aims to prepare participants with the fundamental knowledge on unmanned aircraft technology, and the necessary attitudes and skills of a professional pilot. This is a prequisite course for participants who want to take up The advanced course for the preparatory course for CAAS operator permit (UOP). The participants will undergo flying practice, and will be able to demonstrate simple flight maneuvers through a specially designed and purpose built obstacle course in our state-of-the-art training centre at the end of the course. This course is well suited for participants from building and construction, oil and gas, maritime, ship maintenance and repairs, manufacturing, facilities maintenance industries and anyone who is interested in using unmanned aircraft for commercial purposes.

Advanced Course for Drone Pilot

Preparatory Course  for CAAS Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permit (UOP)

Prerequisite: DPC-B

OBJECTIVES

To conduct a work process using an unmanned aircraft, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) require the pilot to obtain an Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permit (UOP). This 1-day Drone Pilot Course (Advanced) aims to prepare participants with insight on the fundamentals of unmanned aircraft technology. It enables the participants to gain in-depth understanding on the pilot competency, the fundamental knowledge on unmanned aircraft technology, and the necessary attitudes and skills of a professional pilot to operate an unmanned aircraft safely. In addition, participants will undergo intensive flying practice, hence will be able to demonstrate flight maneuvers at the end of the course. This course is well suited for participants from building and construction, oil and gas, maritime, ship maintenance and repairs, manufacturing, facilities maintenance industries and anyone who is interested in using unmanned aircraft for commercial purposes.

Course for Flying Within Confined Spaces

Code: DPC – C

OBJECTIVES

This 1-day Drone Pilot Course (Confined Spaces) aims to prepare participants with the fundamental knowledge on unmanned aircraft technology, and the necessary attitudes and skills of a professional pilot. In addition, participants will undergo flying practice, and will be able to demonstrate flight maneuvers through a specially designed and purpose built obstacle course in our state-of-the-art training centre at the end of the course. Realistic simulation of the work environment allows participants to understand how a collision tolerant unmanned aircraft could maneuver in hazardous and dark spaces (i.e. tunnels, sewer pipes, etc.) which are inaccessible by human. This course is well suited for participants from building and construction, oil and gas, maritime, ship maintenance and repairs, manufacturing, facilities maintenance industries and anyone who is interested in using unmanned aircraft for commercial purposes.

Our flight instructors have extensive experience in the drone operation and training industry. We hold a valid CAAS (Singapore) unmanned aircraft operator permit and are offering both basic, advanced and customize courses for different industries.
